Tax Help Bookstore

Dealing with the IRS can be extremely time consuming and frustrating. As a Professional Tax Firm who deals exclusively with people who owe taxes to the IRS, we are contacted every day by people who need help in one way or another with IRS problems.  In many cases, especially for people with debts under $7500, it is difficult to find a way for us to provide assistance for a reasonable fee given the considerable amount of time it takes to deal with the IRS.

For example:  If someone contacts us who has been assessed $200 in penalties from the IRS because they made a mistake on their tax return there is good news and bad news.  The good news is that there is a way to get the IRS to cancel the penalties; the bad news is that in order for us to get the penalties removed it would take some hours to review the case, write the penalty abatement requestand contact the IRS if necessary, which is a service that we cannot provide for less than the $200 they are trying to save.  Either way, the innocent tax payer is out at least $200 and no one really benefits.

If you owe less than $7500 in back taxes and feel that you could probably take care of your tax problem on your own if you only knew what to do, this is the place for you to start.

In an effort to provide a service for all taxpayers who are having difficulties with the IRS, we have put a number of resources on this site that you can use to get moving in the right direction. Here are a few inexpensive books that we recommend which do a good job of explaining a taxpayer's rights and options in plain English.  If you DO owe more than $7500 in back taxes, then you will probably benefit from Professional Assistance.
